Switch off Fortnight Results 2016

Congratulations to all the children in school for taking part in Switch Off Fortnight 2016.  The eco-council carried out two audits of lights and electrical appliances which were on, off or on standby.  When the results were inputted to the Pod website the following result was generated...the school on average saved 8kW in a 24 hour period.

Our Second Green Flag

Today the Eco-council met Nigel and Paddy, two assessors for Eco-schools.  The Eco-council had an interview session with the two visitors, where they were asked questions and were able to share what the children have been doing throughout the school.

Safety on the Roads

Beverley came into P6 today to teach us about what to wear outside on the road.  She talked to us about wearing reflective clothing so that cars and drivers can see us when we are on the road.  The activities were really fun because we had to guess what colour was in the black tube, this was tricky because it was very dark inside the tube.  We learned about how our eyes see be

Primary 1 - Elmer Day

 In Primary 1 Miss Reynolds read us a story all about a colourful elephant, 'Elmer'.  We had great fun learning all about the colours and we listened to many different stories all about Elmer!  We had an 'Elmer Day' and sorted our t-shirts into different colour sets.&n
