Cockroach and Rat in P6!

Today the children in P6 were very excited to have a rainforest talk.  As part of the talk, the children were able to get up close and personal with some creatures, which they wouldn't normally come in contact with.  There was a giant African snail, a Madagascan Hissing Cockroach, a corn snake, a rat and a tarantula.  The children were able to touch all of these animals bar the tarantula.  There were many stories shared and questions asked as the animals made their way around the classroom.  Have a look at some of our photos.

Apologies for some photos not being orientated as they should be, due to technical issues.
